Recently, the Nigeria Football Association NFA changed its nomenclature to
Nigeria Football Federation NFF.According to its chairman Sani Lulu, the step
was taken in order to make the association look like its counterpart all over
the globe.
It is of common knowledge that the level of football
development in this country has nosedived and one wonders how this change of
name will solve the mess. Football stakeholders are calling for proper and
thorough professionalism by the association chieftains so that we can move
forward and instead of them changing their mediocre mentality, they are busy
pursuing shadow. According to an Igbo proverb, he whose house is on fire does
